The Boker Plus Kalashnikov Mini 01KALS97 is the compact, budget-friendly entry point to the world of automatic knives — and it delivers where it counts. Fast button deployment, D2 steel, a hollow-ground tanto blade, and a grooved aluminum chassis that fits a real grip without the bulk of a full-size Kalashnikov. At 2.08 oz and 3.27″ closed, this is an automatic you can carry every day without thinking about it.

The blade is ground from D2 — a semi-stainless high-carbon tool steel with good edge retention, solid wear resistance, and better corrosion resistance than conventional carbon steels. At 54-61 HRC, D2 holds a working edge through everyday tasks while remaining sharpenable on standard equipment. The tanto profile runs a hollow grind at 0.12″ thick — geometry that keeps the blade light and sliceable while the reinforced tanto tip provides hard-use capability in a sub-3″ format. The black finish on the blade provides a non-reflective, stealth aesthetic consistent with the all-black platform.

The black aluminum handle is grooved for grip security and comfort — textured channels that give you purchase without adding weight. At 0.38″ thick and 2.08 oz total, the Mini Kalashnikov is one of the lightest automatic folders in the Boker Plus lineup. The Button Lock mechanism deploys the blade fast and smooth via side-actuation and locks it open solidly. Tip-up right carry. Manufactured in Taiwan.
