Muela Bowie Classic – 6.30″ 4116 Stainless Satin Plain Edge Blade, Stag Horn Handle – 02MU014

The Bowie knife is one of the most iconic blade designs in history — and the Muela Bowie Classic BW-Classic-16A is a serious expression of that tradition. At over 10 inches overall with a 6.30″ blade and nearly 12 ounces of heft, this is not a knife that makes compromises: it is built to the proportions and character that made the Bowie a field legend, crafted in Spain by one of Europe’s most respected hunting knife houses.

The BW-Classic-16A is built from a full continuous piece of steel — full-tang construction that runs uninterrupted from blade tip through the handle, ensuring there is no joint, rivet, or mechanical assembly point that can loosen or flex under the torque of hard field use. The blade is ground from 4116 stainless steel, a German-origin cutlery steel long established in the hunting and outdoor knife world for dependable corrosion resistance, consistent edge behavior in wet field conditions, and the kind of easy sharpenability that matters when you need to touch up an edge without specialized equipment. The satin finish gives the 6.30″ blade a timeless silver character that suits the classic Bowie aesthetic while keeping maintenance simple. At 0.13″ blade thickness, the geometry favors slicing efficiency — the right profile for a large field and camp knife that needs to move through game and camp tasks with authority rather than brute force.

• Blade: 6.30″ 4116 stainless steel, satin finish, Bowie clip point profile, plain edge — full-tang continuous construction for maximum structural integrity under hard use
• Handle: Stag horn with classic fittings — each handle naturally unique; the organic texture of stag provides a secure, positive grip in wet or cold hands without aggressive machined patterning
• Construction/Carry System: Full-tang fixed blade; includes matching leather sheath for secure belt carry — a proper field carry solution for a serious working Bowie
• Specs: 11.78 oz overall weight · 10.83″ overall length · 0.13″ blade thickness · Made in Spain by Muela
