Microtech LUDT S/E Gen III Signature Series – 3.40″ Bohler M390MK -Topo Badlands Camo Blade, Badlands Camo Smooth Aluminum Handle – 1135S-1TPBNCS-Z4

The Microtech LUDT Gen III Signature Series in Topo Badlands Camo is one of the more visually cohesive builds in the current Microtech lineup — a full-coverage earth-tone colorway that runs the topographic laser pattern across both blade and handle in a unified Badlands camo treatment that reads as intentional kit rather than decoration.

The blade is Bohler M390MK, Microtech’s in-house processed variant of Böhler M390, hardened to 61–62 HRC. At that hardness, M390MK delivers edge retention that far outlasts most production automatic folder steels while maintaining the corrosion resistance needed for carry in varied environments. The flat grind drop point keeps the geometry versatile — a profile that handles slicing, detail work, and daily utility without compromise. The Topo Badlands Camo blade finish carries the topographic pattern into the blade surface itself, completing the colorway across the entire knife.

The handle is smooth anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with a topographic laser pattern in Badlands camo earth tones — a tan and brown variant that sits in the same visual space as military and hunting kit. Smooth anodized rather than milled or machined means the surface is clean in hand without aggressive texture. At 0.48″ thick and 3.60 oz, the LUDT carries like a standard EDC folder. The Gen III platform brings a ball-bearing pivot and Signature Series engraved stainless clip — tip-up right-hand carry. The push-button automatic deploys on the thumb with a single motion and locks via button lock.
