Pro-Tech Synapse 2 Vero Engineering – 3.50″ MagnaMax Stonewash Spear Point Blade, Solid Blue Aluminum Handle – VER2101-BLUE MM

The Pro-Tech Synapse 2 Vero Engineering in solid blue is a push-button automatic folder built on a Joseph Vero design — a collaboration that brings Vero Engineering’s refined geometry to Pro-Tech’s Placentia, California automatic production. At 8.25″ overall and 3.40 oz, the Synapse 2 carries as a slim, lightweight automatic that doesn’t announce itself in the pocket.

The blade is MagnaMax — Pro-Tech’s in-house processed steel developed as a higher wear-resistance evolution beyond CPM-MagnaCut, targeting K390/CPM-10V-tier edge retention while maintaining MagnaCut’s corrosion resistance. At 3.50″ on a spear point/spear point hybrid profile with stonewash finish, MagnaMax delivers a working edge that holds longer than standard MagnaCut production knives while remaining corrosion resistant enough for daily carry in varied environments. The stonewash finish keeps the surface clean and wear-resistant in daily use.

The handle is solid blue smooth anodized 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum — a clean single-color surface with a machined rear handle fuller that adds a visual and tactile reference point at the pommel end without adding bulk. The flush firing push button fires the blade cleanly without the raised button profile found on older automatic designs. The black DLC machined titanium tip-up clip is a material and finish upgrade over standard stainless clips, providing a lighter, harder-wearing carry solution.

Designed by Vero Engineering (Joseph Vero) for Pro-Tech. Made in Placentia, California.

• Blade: 3.50″ spear point/spear point hybrid, MagnaMax at 60–62 HRC, stonewash finish, plain edge
• Handle: Solid blue smooth anodized 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, machined rear fuller
• Deployment/Lock: Flush firing push-button automatic
• Carry: 3.40 oz, tip-up right-hand carry, black DLC machined titanium clip

Ideal for Synapse 2 collectors who want the Vero Engineering design in a solid blue colorway. A strong choice for automatic knife users who want MagnaMax steel in a slim, lightweight platform without moving to a larger frame. Works well for buyers who want a DLC machined titanium clip over standard stainless as a carry upgrade.
