Kershaw Launch Iridium Auto – 3.45″ CPM MagnaCut Stonewashed Spear Point Blade, Bronze Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7038BRZ

The Kershaw Launch Iridium 7038BRZ pairs CPM MagnaCut with a bronze anodized aluminum handle and stonewash spear point blade in a USA-made side-button automatic — the most visually distinctive colorway in the Launch Iridium series, combining warm bronze hardware with a matte steel blade for a production automatic that carries as well as it looks.

CPM MagnaCut is the steel that changed the conversation for American-made production knives. Engineered by metallurgist Larrin Thomas and produced by Crucible Industries, CPM MagnaCut simultaneously outperforms CPM-S35VN and M390 in edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance — three properties that typically require trade-offs in conventional steel design. In an automatic knife, CPM MagnaCut’s edge retention properties translate directly into a blade that stays deployment-ready through more carry cycles before needing attention — most production automatics run 154CM or CPM-S35VN, and the step up to CPM MagnaCut is meaningful in sustained daily carry. The stonewash finish on the 7038BRZ leaves the D2 steel visible in natural textured form, developing a working patina over time that pairs distinctly against the warm bronze anodized aluminum handle — a two-tone combination with more depth and character than a coated or uniform-finish blade. The spear point geometry is the most versatile blade profile in the Launch Iridium lineup: a symmetrical, centered tip with a long usable belly that handles the full range of tasks an automatic is deployed for, from controlled puncture and detail work to slicing and general everyday cutting. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM MagnaCut steel, flat grind, spear point profile, stonewash finish — benchmark edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance with bare stonewash steel that pairs distinctly against the bronze handle and develops a natural working patina
• Handle: Bronze anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, slim profile, the warmest and most visually distinctive colorway in the Launch Iridium series — creates a sharp two-tone contrast with the matte stonewash blade
• Deployment / Lock: Side-button automatic deployment, button lock — press the button and the blade deploys instantly under spring tension; the button lock provides a positive, wide-contact lockup that releases cleanly for one-handed closure
• Carry: Lightweight aluminum construction, tip-up reversible pocket clip, ambidextrous carry configuration, lanyard hole, USA made

Collectors and EDC buyers who want the Launch Iridium platform in the most visually distinctive colorway of the series — bronze anodized aluminum with a stonewash CPM MagnaCut blade is a production original that reads as refined and collected rather than tactical, carrying in casual and professional environments without drawing the wrong kind of attention. Buyers who want CPM MagnaCut in a USA-made automatic with a finish combination that develops character over time — bare stonewash steel patinas naturally with carry, while bronze anodizing at the handle wears gradually at contact points, both of which many buyers prefer to a uniform coated appearance. Buyers building a complete Launch Iridium collection who want the bronze stonewash variant alongside the black G-10 blackwash model (KS7038G10) and any other colorway variants in the series.

CPM MagnaCut, stonewash, bronze anodized aluminum, side-button automatic, and USA made — the Kershaw Launch Iridium 7038BRZ is the production automatic that brings premium steel and a collector-tier colorway to the same platform.
