Kershaw Launch 6 Auto – 3.75″ CPM-154 Black Cerakote Drop Point Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7800BLK

The Kershaw Launch 6 7800BLK is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 3.75-inch CPM-154 black Cerakote drop point blade on a black anodized aluminum handle — the longest blade in the entire Kershaw Launch lineup, in a fully unified all-black configuration with a durable polymer-ceramic coating over the broadly capable drop point geometry.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, liner lock retention. The Launch 6 7800BLK runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. No active moisture maintenance required. At 3.75 inches, the Launch 6 carries the longest blade documented across the full Launch catalog — longer than the Launch 7’s 3.7 inches and the Launch 13, 15, and 17’s 3.5 inches, putting the Launch 6 at the top of the Launch blade-length range. The black Cerakote coating is a polymer-ceramic composite applied by spray and thermally cured — harder and more abrasion-resistant than PVD or black-oxide, adding a durable corrosion barrier on top of CPM-154’s already excellent stainless resistance. The drop point geometry remains the most broadly capable everyday blade profile in the Launch catalog — a smoothly curved spine to a lowered, versatile tip with a long cutting belly — now offered at the largest scale in the series. The black anodized aluminum handle creates a fully unified, zero-signature carry profile with the Cerakote-coated blade, the longest and darkest configuration Kershaw’s Launch line offers. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
