Kershaw Launch 4 Auto – 1.9″ CPM-154 Black Cerakote Spear Point Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7500BLK

The Kershaw Launch 4 7500BLK is the zero-signature Launch 4 — CPM-154 black Cerakote spear point in the most compact automatic in the Launch lineup, on a fully unified black anodized aluminum handle, the all-black counterpart to the field-carry OD green 7500OLBLK on the same Cerakote-coated platform.

The Launch 4 occupies a specific and underserved position in the automatic knife market: a sub-2-inch USA-made side-button automatic in premium steel, sized for carry situations where even a standard-size folder draws attention or creates unwanted bulk. The Launch 4 7500BLK runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. The black Cerakote finish is a polymer-ceramic composite coating applied by spray and thermally cured — harder and more abrasion-resistant than black-oxide, adding a durable corrosion barrier on top of CPM-154’s already excellent stainless resistance. The 7500BLK shares this Cerakote finish with the 7500OLBLK, but where the 7500OLBLK pairs that black blade with a field-credible OD green handle, the 7500BLK pairs it with a fully black anodized aluminum handle for a completely unified, zero-signature carry piece — no color contrast anywhere on the knife. At 1.9 inches, the 7500BLK remains sized for shirt pocket, suit jacket, formal wear, or backup automatic carry, now in the most discreet possible finish combination on this platform. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, spear point profile, black Cerakote finish — powder metallurgy stainless with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance; Cerakote adds a durable polymer-ceramic corrosion barrier on top of CPM-154’s stainless resistance
• Handle: Black anodized aluminum — fully unified zero-signature configuration matching the black Cerakote blade; no color contrast anywhere on the knife
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; fast, smooth one-hand deployment; liner lock retention
• Carry: Most compact automatic in the Launch lineup at 1.9 inches, USA made (confirm clip configuration)

Buyers who want the Launch 4’s ultra-compact 1.9-inch format in the most carry-neutral, zero-signature finish available — the 7500BLK’s fully black Cerakote blade and black handle disappear into any carry context without communicating color or field signal in any direction. Buyers who want Cerakote’s durable coating protection rather than the bare satin finish of the 7500RAW, 7500BLU, and 7500BRZ. Collectors completing the full Launch 4 family who want the 7500BLK alongside the 7500RAW, 7500BLU, 7500BRZ, 7500DAM, and 7500OLBLK as the complete six-variant Launch 4 set.

CPM-154, black Cerakote spear point, black anodized aluminum, USA-made side-button automatic, and Kershaw Lifetime Warranty — the Kershaw Launch 4 7500BLK is the zero-signature compact automatic in the Launch 4 lineup.
