Kershaw Launch 18 Auto – 2.75″ CPM-154 Black Drop Point Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7551BLK

The Kershaw Launch 18 7551BLK is the all-black drop point compact — CPM-154 in a black blade finish on a black anodized aluminum handle, the most carry-neutral and zero-signature configuration of the compact Launch 18 platform with the broadly capable drop point geometry, delivering sub-3-inch CPM-154 automatic capability in a fully unified dark package.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot, liner lock retention. The Launch 18 7551BLK runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance in a compact blade. The drop point geometry delivers a broadly capable everyday blade profile — the spine curves smoothly down to a lowered, versatile tip that handles the full range of daily cutting tasks. The black blade finish on the 7551BLK applies a dark coating over the CPM-154 substrate, creating a unified all-black blade and handle combination with a functional corrosion barrier on top of CPM-154’s already excellent stainless resistance. Where the stonewash variants show the natural textured surface of bare CPM-154, the black finish produces a uniform dark blade that reads with the handle as a single carry unit. The black anodized aluminum handle and the black blade finish create the most fully unified all-black compact automatic in the Launch 18 family — no tonal variation, no color signal, no material contrast between blade and handle. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, drop point profile, black finish — powder metallurgy stainless with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance; black coating adds a functional corrosion barrier; unified black with the handle for a single-unit all-black carry profile
• Handle: Black anodized aluminum — fully unified all-black with the black blade finish; zero-signature compact carry in the most carry-neutral configuration
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; KVT ball-bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth, one-hand deployment; liner lock retention
• Carry: Sub-3-inch compact automatic, USA made (confirm clip configuration)
