Kershaw Launch 18 Auto – 2.79″ CPM-154 Stonewashed Spear Point Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7551BLKSW

The Kershaw Launch 18 7551BLKSW is the all-black Launch 18 — CPM-154 stonewash spear point on black anodized aluminum, the most carry-neutral and zero-signature configuration of the compact Launch 18 platform, delivering sub-3-inch CPM-154 capability in the most context-free and universally appropriate compact automatic carry package.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot, liner lock retention. The Launch 18 7551BLKSW runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance in a 2.79-inch compact blade that handles the full range of everyday light cutting tasks while fitting comfortably in a front pocket. At 2.79 inches, the Launch 18 bridges the ultra-compact Launch 4 and the full-size Launch variants, delivering enough blade for real daily cutting tasks in a profile sized for professional, dress, and discrete carry. The black anodized aluminum handle on the 7551BLKSW is the most carry-neutral configuration in the Launch 18 family. Where the 7551 gray reads as neutral and professional, the 7551OL reads as field-carry tactical, and the 7551DAM carries warm Damascus tones as a visual accent, the 7551BLKSW’s all-black stonewash blade on black handle creates a unified dark carry profile — no color signal, no field signal, no warm accent. Black on black reads as zero-signature: the knife disappears into a pocket or carry system without drawing visual attention in any direction. The stonewash finish’s matte, low-reflectance surface pairs with the black anodized handle for a profile that diffuses light rather than reflecting it, further reducing visual signature. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
