Heretic Medusa Auto – 3″ CPM MagnaCut Blade, Red Camo Carbon Fiber Handle – H011-6A-RD/CC

The Heretic Medusa Auto H011-6A-RD/CC pairs a 3-inch CPM MagnaCut blade with a Red Camo carbon fiber handle, bringing a lightweight, distinctively patterned material to Heretic’s Medusa automatic platform.

CPM MagnaCut is Crucible’s stainless steel engineered specifically for knife blades by metallurgist Larrin Thomas, rather than optimizing for one property, MagnaCut is formulated to deliver strong edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness simultaneously, closing the gap that usually forces a tradeoff between the three. Its balanced carbide structure keeps it easier to sharpen than extreme high-vanadium steels like CPM-S90V, while still outperforming older workhorse stainless steels like D2, 154CM, and CPM-S30V on corrosion resistance and edge stability.

Carbon fiber handle scales are prized for being extremely light relative to their strength and for their distinctive woven-fiber look, on this Medusa the carbon fiber is finished in a Red Camo pattern for a bold, tactical appearance.

The automatic mechanism deploys the blade at the push of a button, Heretic’s automatics typically use an out-the-front (OTF) design, though this should be confirmed for the Medusa platform specifically.

• Blade: 3″ CPM MagnaCut blade, balanced edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness; blade finish not stated this session, verify against hereticknives.com.
• Handle: Red Camo carbon fiber, a lightweight, distinctively patterned handle material.
• Deployment: Push-button automatic, likely out-the-front (OTF) based on the pattern of Heretic’s other automatics, not explicitly confirmed for the Medusa platform.

Buyers who want a lightweight carbon fiber handle in a bold Red Camo pattern, distinct from Heretic’s G10 or aluminum Medusa configurations.
CPM MagnaCut buyers who want strong all-around performance, edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, without the sharpening difficulty of extreme high-vanadium stainless steels.
Collectors building out the Medusa lineup who want the Red Camo carbon fiber colorway alongside the G10 and Magma finish configurations.

CPM MagnaCut’s balanced edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness paired with a lightweight Red Camo carbon fiber handle, the Heretic Medusa Auto H011-6A-RD/CC is built for buyers who want a distinctive, tactical material combination on the Medusa automatic platform.
