ESEE-4 – 4.5″ CPM-S35VN Stonewash Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Tan Micarta Handle – ESEE-4P35V

This ESEE-4 pairs a 4.5″ CPM S35VN stainless steel drop point in a stonewash finish with tan canvas Micarta scales, giving Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin’s survival and bushcraft design a lower-maintenance blade and a classic, understated look.

Randall and Perrin built the ESEE-4 as an all-around field knife, and ESEE notes it has seen use by military, law enforcement, and adventurers, including students at Randall’s Adventure & Training jungle survival school. This version is ground from CPM S35VN at 59-60 HRC, a powder-metallurgy stainless steel that holds a working edge noticeably longer than 1095 and stands up to sweat, rain, and humidity with far less care. The flat grind and 0.189″ stock keep the ESEE-4’s mix of strength and slicing, and the stonewash finish hides scuffs from hard use. Tan Micarta scales grip well wet or dry and wear in nicely over time.

• Blade: 4.5″ CPM S35VN stainless steel drop point, flat grind, plain edge, stonewash finish, 0.189″ thick, 59-60 HRC. 9.0″ overall.

• Construction: Fixed blade, with no folding or locking mechanism.
