Benchmade SlipRidge Fixed Combo – 3.7″ CPM MagnaCut Satin Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Dark Stabilized Wood Handle – 15650-COMBO

The Benchmade SlipRidge Fixed Combo is built as the core of a big game kit: a 3.7″ CPM MagnaCut drop-point fixed blade with a dark stabilized wood handle, a 440C gut hook, and a modular MOLLE-compatible sheath.

CPM MagnaCut is a powder-metallurgy stainless steel designed to combine strong edge retention and toughness with very high corrosion resistance. Benchmade runs it at 60-62 HRC and finishes the edge with its SelectEdge sharpening process. In the field, that means an edge that holds up through skinning and quartering and resists rust from blood and moisture. The drop-point blade has a high tip and a large belly for long skinning cuts while staying nimble in tight spaces.

• Blade: 3.7″ CPM MagnaCut drop point, satin finish, 0.114″ thick, plain edge with SelectEdge sharpening, 60-62 HRC. 8.11″ overall.
• Handle: Dark stabilized wood, 0.616″ thick, shaped to resist rolling in the hand, with contoured pinch points and a deep finger choil for close control.
• Sheath + Tools: Modular OD Green Boltaron sheath, MOLLE compatible, plus a 440C stainless steel gut hook in Rust Orange Cerakote.
• Carry: Modular sheath for multiple carry setups on a belt or MOLLE gear. Kit weight 7.945 oz.

Ideal for: big game hunters who field dress and quarter their own animals; elk and deer hunters building a complete kill kit; and backcountry hunters who want a stainless MagnaCut blade that handles wet conditions.

Stabilized wood is a natural material, so color and grain pattern will vary from knife to knife.

Answers to the most common questions about the Benchmade SlipRidge Fixed Combo in Dark Stabilized Wood (15650-COMBO).

What kind of blade and sheath does the SlipRidge Fixed Combo have?

It is a fixed blade with a 3.7-inch CPM MagnaCut drop-point blade in a satin finish, hardened to 60-62 HRC and sharpened with Benchmade’s SelectEdge process. It comes with a modular OD Green Boltaron sheath that is MOLLE compatible.

What is included in the SlipRidge Fixed Combo kit?

The kit includes the SlipRidge fixed blade, a 440C stainless steel gut hook in Rust Orange Cerakote, and a modular OD Green Boltaron sheath. Items not listed, such as a sharpener or lanyard, are not included. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.

What is the gut hook for?

A gut hook opens the hide and abdominal wall of big game in a controlled cut while keeping the edge away from internal organs. Having it as a separate tool lets you keep the SlipRidge’s main blade clean and sharp for skinning and quartering.

How do I care for the stabilized wood handle?

Stabilized wood is impregnated with resin to resist moisture, but avoid soaking it. Wipe the handle clean after field use and dry it before storing. As a natural material, its color and grain will vary from knife to knife.

Does the CPM MagnaCut blade need special care?

CPM MagnaCut is a stainless steel with high corrosion resistance, so it handles blood and moisture well. Still, clean and dry the blade after each use, especially before storing it in the sheath.
