Takumitak Sentinel – Black G-10 (5.5″ D2) TKF203SL

The Takumitak Sentinel is a masterful blend of form and function, merging the attributes of a double-edged combat dagger with the practicality of a digging tool, reminiscent of the renowned smatchet. Its exceptional versatility makes it an invaluable tool for a wide range of tasks in tactical, hunting, camping, and survival scenarios.

Design and Construction

Full Tang Knife with CNC Machined Precision

At the core of the Sentinel’s design is its full tang construction, providing robust durability and balance. The D2 blade, renowned for its hardness and resistance, is CNC machined to ensure extreme precision, tight tolerances, and uniformity. This careful engineering results in consistently high-quality performance in demanding environments. Each blade is hardened to an impressive 61-62HRC, ensuring a sharp edge that endures even the toughest conditions.

G10 Handle Scales

The handle scales are crafted from CNC machined G10, a material celebrated for its lightweight strength and exceptional grip. The G10’s texture remains reliable even in fluid-contaminated or oily conditions, offering the user a secure hold during challenging tasks.

Versatility and Practicality

Multi-Purpose Functionality

Designed for hard use, the Takumitak Sentinel excels in multiple roles—whether cutting through thick material, digging in the earth, or performing precise tasks. Its adaptability makes it a favorite for those who require a reliable tool in various settings.

Easy Carry and Deployment

The Sentinel’s design ensures it is both easy to carry and quick to deploy. The pressure retention Kydex sheath provides secure knife positioning while enabling one-motion deployment for immediate use. The sheath is equipped with a MOLLE system-ready clip, allowing for versatile carry options, including vertical, horizontal, left, or right-hand use.

Packaging and Presentation

Every Takumitak D2 knife is presented in a two-piece hard shell box, featuring custom hard foam inserts tailored to the knife’s shape. This premium packaging not only protects the knife during transport but also underscores the high-quality craftsmanship that defines the Takumitak brand.
