SOG Tech Bowie – Black Kraton (6.4″ AUS-8) SOG-S11B-BX

For knife enthusiasts who appreciate the iconic style of the SOG Bowie but seek a contemporary twist, the Tech Bowie is an excellent choice. This knife seamlessly combines classic design with cutting-edge technology and materials, resulting in a high-performance work knife that stands out in both appearance and functionality.

Modern Materials and Design

The Tech Bowie retains the essence of the original SOG Bowie while introducing modern enhancements. All metal parts, including the blade, crossguard, and pommel, are stonewashed. This process offers robust protection against wear and provides extra corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity and durability even in demanding conditions.

Enhanced Handle for Improved Grip

One of the standout features of the Tech Bowie is its handle. Unlike traditional knives that use leather washers, the Tech Bowie features a tactile Kraton rubber handle. This modern material provides a superior grip, enhancing control and comfort during use. The contemporary design of the handle not only improves functionality but also adds a sleek, modern aesthetic to the knife.

Superior Blade Quality

The Tech Bowie is equipped with a thick (0.24″) 6.4″ AUS-8 clip point blade. This high-quality blade maintains the same grind as the original SOG Bowie, offering excellent sharpness and precision. The blade’s design includes deep hollow grinds and a faceted tip, which are unmistakable signatures of SOG craftsmanship.

Unmistakable SOG Features

The Tech Bowie includes several design elements that are characteristic of SOG knives. The sculpted crossguard and precision detailing demonstrate the brand’s commitment to quality and attention to detail. These features not only enhance the knife’s performance but also pay homage to the iconic design of the original Bowie.
