Pro-Tech Rockeye – 3.385″ CPM MagnaCut DLC Black Plain Edge Clip Point Blade, Smooth Green Aluminum Handle, Les George Design – LG3103-GREEN

The Pro-Tech Rockeye LG3103 is not a knife designed by a celebrity endorser — it was designed by Les George, a 10-year United States Marine Corps veteran who built the Rockeye because the automatic knives that existed did not meet the standard of someone who has used blades in conditions most people will never encounter. Pro-Tech built it to his specification. The result is one of the most purpose-driven automatic folders in American production, and the LG3103 Green brings it in a smooth green anodized aluminum handle with a DLC black CPM MagnaCut blade.

The blade steel is CPM MagnaCut, engineered by Crucible Industries to outperform conventional knife steels across every category simultaneously — higher edge retention than CPM-S35VN, better toughness than M390, and corrosion resistance that rivals steels built specifically for that purpose. The DLC black finish adds a layer of surface hardness and wear resistance on top of an already exceptional steel and eliminates glare and reflection in field conditions. The clip point profile gives the LG3103 a strong tip with moderate belly — geometry suited equally to controlled slicing and precision entry work. Pro-Tech’s coil-spring push-button mechanism deploys with the same authority and consistency every time.

• Blade: 3.385 in CPM MagnaCut clip point — DLC black finish, flat grind, plain edge, built for both slicing and precision work
• Handle: Smooth green anodized aluminum — contoured large enough for gloved hand use, slim enough for jacket pocket carry
• Mechanism: Push-button automatic, coil spring — button actuator doubles as button lock, no separate lock mechanics
• Hardware: Black finish throughout — clip, fasteners, and button match the DLC blade
• Dimensions: 8.375 in overall / 5.0 in closed / 4.64 oz
• Clip: Black tip-up, right-hand carry
• Origin: USA — built in Placentia, California by Pro-Tech Knives to Les George’s specification

The LG3103 is for duty carriers, security professionals, and serious EDC buyers who want a full-size automatic designed by someone who has staked their life on edge tool performance — not a production knife with a signature added. It suits military and law enforcement buyers who want a domestic automatic with verifiable design credentials, and collectors building out the Les George / Pro-Tech collaboration catalog.
