Pacaya – 3.0″ CPM-3V Black Coated Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Black Canvas Micarta Handle – ESPACAYA3VB

The ESEE Pacaya is a compact utility fixed blade that draws on three ESEE designs: the ESEE-3, the Izula, and the Sencillo. This all-black version pairs a 3.0″ full-tang CPM 3V blade in a black coating with a black canvas Micarta handle and a black Kydex sheath.

CPM 3V is a powder-metallurgy tool steel known for very high toughness, making it a strong choice for a hard-working utility knife. ESEE runs it at 58-60 HRC. That means a 1/8″ thick blade that resists chipping and holds a working edge through camp chores and hunting tasks. The wide drop-point blade blends straight into the handle, putting your fingers close to the edge for precise, controlled cuts, and the rounded handle is shaped to stay comfortable through long tasks.

• Blade: 3.0″ CPM 3V drop point, black corrosion-resistant coating, 1/8″ thick, full tang, plain edge, 58-60 HRC. 7.12″ overall.
• Handle: Rounded black canvas Micarta, shaped to avoid hot spots during extended use. 4.12″ handle length.
• Sheath: Black Kydex sheath included.
• Carry: 3.32 oz. Add straps (sold separately) for scout carry, or a metal clip (sold separately) for pocket carry.

Ideal for: everyday carriers who want a low-profile, all-black fixed blade; campers who want a compact, tough knife for daily camp chores; and hunters who need a small, controllable blade for field tasks.

Care: CPM 3V is a tool steel, not stainless. The coating protects the blade faces, but the edge is bare steel and can rust if left wet. Clean and dry the blade after use and keep the edge lightly oiled.
