Muela Mouse-7M – 2.76″ 14C28N Stainless Full Tang Plain Blade, Brown Micarta Handle, Brown Leather Sheath – 02MU208

The Muela Mouse-7M 02MU208 is a compact fixed blade built for the field work where a smaller knife outperforms a larger one — fine detail cuts, precise control in hunting field dressing, and the bushcraft tasks that demand a blade you can feel rather than just hold. At 5.91″ overall with a 2.76″ blade, the Mouse-7M is small enough to carry all day and capable enough to handle every task a hunting or bushcraft day delivers. Full-tang 14C28N stainless steel. Brown Micarta handle scales. Lanyard hole. Brown leather sheath. Handcrafted in Spain.

The blade is ground from 14C28N — Sandvik’s Swedish stainless steel engineered for exceptional corrosion resistance and an outstanding sharpening response. The 14C28N designation reflects its composition: 14% chromium for corrosion resistance in field and moisture conditions, with carbon, nitrogen, and manganese additions that produce a fine carbide structure. This fine-carbide microstructure gives 14C28N the ability to take and hold a highly refined edge — and to come back to a sharp edge quickly on any sharpening system after field use. At 0.14″ thick, the blade carries adequate stock for the demanding cuts a compact hunting knife encounters while remaining thin enough for precise detail work. The full-tang construction runs the steel from tip to butt through the Micarta handle for maximum structural integrity, balance, and durability in the field.

The brown Micarta handle scales provide a secure, comfortable grip in all field conditions — wet, bloody, cold, or gloved. Micarta is a composite of woven fiber and resin that grips securely across all these conditions and develops a carry character over time with field use. At 4.80 oz and 5.91″ overall, the Mouse-7M carries like an accessory and performs like a primary tool. The lanyard hole accommodates retention cord or a lanyard for field carry security. Brown leather sheath fits snugly for secure carry. Handcrafted in Spain by Muela.
