Kershaw Launch 9 Auto – 1.8″ CPM-154 Stonewashed Drop Point Blade, Gray Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7250GRYSW

The Kershaw Launch 9 7250GRYSW is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 1.8-inch CPM-154 stonewash drop point blade on a gray anodized aluminum handle — a USA-made automatic in one of the most compact formats produced, delivering powder metallurgy stainless performance and instant one-hand deployment in a blade length sized for the most discrete carry contexts available.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, liner lock retention. The Launch 9 7250GRYSW runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. No active moisture maintenance required. At 1.8 inches, the Launch 9 7250GRYSW occupies the most compact end of the Launch lineup — sized for shirt pocket, suit jacket, formal wear, or backup automatic carry contexts where even the 1.9-inch Launch 4 may create unwanted profile in some configurations. The drop point geometry delivers a broadly capable everyday blade profile in a sub-2-inch compact format — the spine curves smoothly to a lowered versatile tip that handles everyday light cutting tasks from a compact blade. The stonewash finish leaves CPM-154 in natural textured form — matte, low-reflectance, developing a working patina with carry. The gray anodized aluminum handle is the most carry-neutral colored anodize in the Launch lineup — professional, precise, and context-free, the same neutral professional carry aesthetic established on the Launch 18 7551 and 7551DAM gray variants. Where the 7250DAM’s Damascus blade carries warm etch tones as a premium visual accent against the black aluminum handle, the 7250GRYSW’s cool stonewash blade against cool gray aluminum creates a unified neutral-register carry piece — the knife disappears into a pocket or carry system without communicating color or material signal. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
