Kershaw Launch 23 Auto – 3.3″ CPM-154 Two-Tone Trailing Point Blade, Black Anodized Machined Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7305BLK

The Kershaw Launch 23 Black is a USA-made side-button automatic folder in CPM-154 steel with a two-tone trailing point blade and a black anodized machined aluminum handle — the most carry-neutral and visually quiet colorway in the Launch 23 lineup, delivering the slicing-optimized trailing point geometry in a clean black-on-two-tone configuration that works in any carry context.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment through a KVT ball-bearing pivot for fast, smooth one-hand deployment, liner lock retention, and blade steel that positions each variant precisely in the performance hierarchy. The Launch 23 Black runs CPM-154, the Crucible powder metallurgy version of the classic 154CM stainless alloy — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and the same excellent corrosion resistance as the base formula. The trailing point blade geometry curves the spine upward so the tip sits above the centerline, producing the longest, most continuous cutting belly of any blade geometry in the Launch lineup — optimized for draw cuts, slicing, and tasks where blade-to-material contact length is the performance driver. The two-tone finish makes the trailing point’s grind geometry immediately readable. The black anodized machined aluminum handle is the most carry-neutral of the three Launch 23 colorways — where the FDE reads as field-purposeful and earth-tone and the green reads as bold and assertive, the black handle carries without color signal, working in every professional, tactical, outdoor, and casual carry environment without drawing attention. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, trailing point profile, two-tone finish — powder metallurgy stainless with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance; trailing point geometry maximizes cutting belly and draw-cut performance
• Handle: Black anodized machined aluminum — the most carry-neutral Launch 23 colorway; no color signal, works in every carry environment; machined texture for positive grip
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; KVT ball-bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth, one-hand deployment; liner lock retention
• Carry: Tip-up, USA made (confirm clip configuration)

Buyers who want the Launch 23 trailing point platform in the most versatile and carry-neutral color configuration — black anodized aluminum carries without color signal in professional, tactical, outdoor, and casual environments where FDE or green might draw attention or read as context-specific. EDC buyers who carry black-handled tools as a consistent system and want the Launch 23’s slicing-optimized trailing point to match. First-time Launch 23 buyers who want the platform without committing to a colorway — black is the reference configuration against which the FDE and green variants are compared.

CPM-154, two-tone trailing point, black anodized machined aluminum, USA-made side-button automatic, and Kershaw Lifetime Warranty — the Kershaw Launch 23 Black is the carry-neutral trailing point automatic in the Launch 23 lineup.
