Kershaw Launch 12 CA-Legal Mini Stiletto Auto – 1.9″ CPM-154 Blackwash Spear Point Blade, Blue Aluminum & Carbon Fiber Inlay Handle USA Made – 7130BLUBW

The Kershaw Launch 12 7130BLUBW is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 1.9-inch CPM-154 blackwash spear point blade on a blue anodized aluminum handle with carbon fiber inlay — a CA-Legal compliance-length configuration built beneath California’s 2-inch automatic knife threshold, in a bold blue colorway with carbon fiber detailing.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, liner lock retention. The Launch 12 7130BLUBW runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. No active moisture maintenance required. At 1.9 inches, the blade length is built specifically beneath the 2-inch threshold that California and similar jurisdictions apply to automatic knife blade length restrictions — the “CA-Legal” designation in the product name reflects this deliberate compliance dimension, consistent with the same compliance-length approach found on the Launch 9 CA-Legal family. The blackwash finish applies a dark coating over a stonewash base, the underlying micro-texture creating dimensional depth in the dark surface. The blue anodized aluminum handle with carbon fiber inlay brings a bold color statement to the compliance-length format — blue anodize paired with woven carbon fiber texture, distinct from the gray and Damascus configurations found on the standard-length Launch 12 platform. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, spear point profile, blackwash finish — powder metallurgy stainless with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance; 1.9-inch blade length engineered beneath the 2-inch automatic knife threshold applied in California and similar jurisdictions; dimensional dark blackwash surface; no active moisture maintenance required
• Handle: Blue anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inlay — bold color statement at the compliance-length format; woven carbon fiber texture against the blue anodized frame
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; fast, smooth one-hand deployment; liner lock retention
• Carry: 1.9-inch CA-Legal blade length, USA made (confirm clip configuration)

Buyers in jurisdictions with automatic knife blade-length restrictions, including California’s 2-inch limit, who want a USA-made automatic built beneath that threshold in a bold blue colorway with carbon fiber detailing rather than a neutral or natural finish. Buyers who want a compliance-length automatic that still carries a distinctive color and material statement. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to confirm current automatic knife laws — including blade length limits, permitted ownership, and any additional restrictions — for their specific state, county, and city before purchasing or carrying this knife.

CPM-154, blackwash spear point, blue anodized aluminum with carbon fiber inlay, a 1.9-inch blade built beneath common automatic knife length thresholds, USA-made side-button automatic, and Kershaw Lifetime Warranty — the Kershaw Launch 12 7130BLUBW.
