Kershaw Launch 12 Blackout – 2.4″ CPM-154 BlackWash Spear Point Blade, Black Aluminum with Carbon Fiber Inlays – KS7125BLKBW

The Italian stiletto silhouette in full blackout — 1.9 oz, USA-made CPM-154, carbon fiber inlays, and the snap-fire button action that defines the Kershaw Launch series in the most compact Launch ever built.

Matt Diskin designed the Launch 12 as a deliberate answer to one question: what if a traditional Italian stiletto spear point could weigh less than two ounces? The answer is a 2.4″ blade in CPM-154 — a powder metallurgy stainless steel that delivers exceptional edge sharpness, corrosion resistance, and toughness in a thin 0.12″ flat-ground profile. The deep top grind that gives the blade its stiletto aesthetic also removes material deliberately — every gram that’s gone is weight that isn’t in your pocket at 6.2″ overall. The BlackWash™ finish eliminates blade glare and adds surface texture that conceals minor wear; paired with the black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle and carbon fiber inlays, the entire knife reads as a single cohesive blackout package. The recessed “bullseye” push button fires with authority — a powerful spring behind a button positioned for natural thumb access. Integrated top and bottom finger guards are machined into the handle scales themselves, preventing hand shift during rapid deployment without adding bulk. At 1.9 oz with tip-up, ambidextrous clip carry, the Launch 12 carries left or right, disappears in the pocket, and deploys instantly.

• Blade: 2.4″ CPM-154 powder metallurgy stainless steel, spear point, flat grind, BlackWash™ finish, plain edge — 0.12″ stock; HRC 58–60; deep top grind reduces weight while reinforcing the stiletto profile
• Handle: Black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with carbon fiber inlays, 0.49″ thickness — precision-machined with integrated top and bottom finger guards; full blackout aesthetic
• Deployment / Lock: Recessed “bullseye” push-button automatic — powerful firing spring, instantaneous one-hand deployment; Button Lock secures blade open
• Carry: 1.9 oz; 6.2″ overall; 3.70″ closed; tip-up, ambidextrous (right/left) deep-carry pocket clip — Made in USA

Ideal For

• Compact automatic carry buyers — at 1.9 oz the Launch 12 is lighter than most manual EDC folders; buyers who want the snap-fire authority of the Kershaw Launch series in a package that genuinely disappears in the pocket
• Italian stiletto enthusiasts — the spear point geometry and deep top grind deliver the traditional stiletto silhouette in a blackout format; for buyers who want the aesthetic and the deployment speed without the full-size profile of the Launch 8

The Kershaw Launch 12 Blackout (KS7125BLKBW) is the most compact Launch in the series — CPM-154, carbon fiber, sub-2-oz blackout carry, and the button-fire authority Kershaw Launch owners know.
