Kershaw Kai PRO Asian Utility Knife – 7.0″ Japanese AUS6M Hammered Blade Riveted POM Handle HT7077

The Kershaw Kai PRO Asian Utility Knife (HT7077) is the ultimate multi-tasking tool for the modern kitchen. While it shares the profile of a vegetable cleaver, this is a precision utility instrument designed for total blade utilization. From using the sharp tip to peel ginger to utilizing the long, straight edge for portioning proteins, every square inch of this knife is engineered for efficiency.

Crafted from premium Japanese AUS6M stainless steel, the 7-inch blade features a striking hammered finish that creates air pockets to reduce drag, ensuring food releases instantly while slicing. The blade is hand-finished to a razor-sharp 16° edge on each side, providing significantly more precision than standard Western-style knives. This versatile “workhorse” can smash garlic with the flat of the blade, tenderize meat with the spine, and thinly shave vegetables with the razor-sharp edge. Built for the rigors of commercial use, the full-tang construction and moisture-resistant riveted POM handle ensure a lifetime of balanced, professional-level performance.

• 7.0″ Japanese AUS6M Stainless Steel Blade featuring a high-carbon content for superior edge retention and a hammered finish to prevent food from sticking.

• Hand-Sharpened 16° Double-Bevel Edge delivers surgical precision for everything from skinning fish to processing bulk vegetables for stir-fry.

• Full-Tang Riveted POM Handle provides a weighted, ergonomic balance and a durable grip designed to withstand the demands of a high-volume commercial kitchen.

• NSF Certified Cutlery ensures the knife meets strict safety and sanitation standards for professional environments.
