Kershaw Deschutes Caper Fixed Blade Hunting Knife – 3.3″ D2 Stonewashed Clip Point Blade OD Green Rubberized Grip 1882

The Kershaw Deschutes Caper (1882) is the precision instrument of the Deschutes hunting series. While a skinner handles the heavy lifting, the Caper is engineered for the delicate, high-detail work required around the head and neck of an animal. Featuring a full-flat grind, this specialty fixed blade offers superior slicing geometry, making it an indispensable tool for hunters who demand professional results in the field. Proudly designed for maximum maneuverability, the Caper ensures you have the right edge for the most technical parts of game processing.

The 3.3-inch clip point blade is crafted from D2 tool steel, providing the long-lasting edge retention needed to get through a full job without stopping to sharpen. The rugged stonewashed finish hides wear and reduces glare, while the integrated finger choil and thumb ramp allow you to choke up for surgical control. The handle mirrors the rest of the Deschutes line with a durable polypropylene core and a “sticky” OD green rubber overlay, ensuring a slip-resistant grip even in cold, wet, or bloody conditions.

• Precision-Ground D2 Tool Steel: The full-flat grind clip point blade is optimized for thin slicing and detail-oriented caping tasks.

• Specialized Detail Design: Perfectly sized and shaped for working in tight areas where a larger skinning blade might be too cumbersome.

• All-Weather Rubberized Grip: The OD green rubber overlay provides a secure, ergonomic hold that prevents hand fatigue during repetitive tasks.

• Choke-Up Control: Features a deep finger choil and notched thumb ramp for a “pencil-style” grip, essential for precision taxidermy or field dressing.

• Secure GFN Sheath: Comes with a custom-molded black glass-filled nylon sheath that provides excellent retention and easy belt-carry access.
