Izula Survival Kit – 2.63″ 1095 Tactical Gray Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Tactical Gray Skeletonized Handle – IZULA-TG-B-KIT

The ESEE Izula Survival Kit pairs the compact Tactical Gray Izula fixed blade with a set of small survival accessories plus a pair of black G-10 handle scales. Run it as a 1.90 oz skeletonized knife, or fit the G-10 scales for a fuller grip. It is built for low-profile everyday carry or as the core of a lightweight survival kit.

1095 carbon steel is a classic outdoor steel: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and dependable for everyday cutting. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The Izula’s 2.63″ flat-ground drop-point blade handles cutting cord, prepping tinder, and fine work, and the Tactical Gray finish helps protect it. The skeletonized steel handle keeps weight to a minimum, and the included G-10 scales let you trade a little weight for a more comfortable hold.

• Blade: 2.63″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, Tactical Gray finish, flat grind, plain edge, 0.16″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 6.25″ overall.
• Handle: Tactical Gray skeletonized steel, with black G-10 scales included to fit for a fuller grip. 3.375″ handle length.
• Kit Contents: Black G-10 handle scales, paracord, cord lock, large split ring, small split ring, ferro fire starting rod, emergency whistle, and plastic snap hook, plus an injection-molded black polymer sheath.
• Carry: 1.90 oz (knife only, without scales), light enough to add to any pack or kit.

Ideal for: hikers and backpackers who want an ultralight backup knife with fire and signaling basics; survival kit builders who want a ready-made starting point; and buyers who want the option of a skeletonized or scaled handle in one kit.

Care: 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The Tactical Gray finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina. Keep the knife dry and lightly oiled.

ESEE Izula Survival Kit Tactical Gray with G-10 Scales: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about the ESEE Izula Survival Kit in Tactical Gray with black G-10 scales (IZULA-TG-B-KIT).

What is included in this Izula Survival Kit?

The kit includes the Tactical Gray Izula fixed blade with an injection-molded black polymer sheath, a pair of black G-10 handle scales, paracord, a cord lock, a large split ring, a small split ring, a ferro fire starting rod, an emergency whistle, and a plastic snap hook. Items not listed, such as first aid supplies, food, or water purification, are not included. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.

What kind of blade and sheath does the Izula have?

It is a fixed blade with a 2.63-inch 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade, 0.16 inch thick, hardened to 55-57 HRC, with a Tactical Gray finish, a flat grind, and a plain edge, on a Tactical Gray skeletonized steel handle. It comes with an injection-molded black polymer sheath.

What are the G-10 scales for?

The black G-10 scales fit over the skeletonized steel handle to give you a fuller, more comfortable grip for longer cutting tasks. Leave them off for the lightest possible carry, or fit them when you want more handle to hold. G-10 is a durable fiberglass laminate that resists moisture.

How are the other kit accessories used?

The paracord, cord lock, split rings, and snap hook can be used to rig the sheath for neck carry or to attach it to a pack or belt, and the paracord can also be wrapped around the skeletonized handle for added grip. The ferro rod is for starting fires, and the whistle is for signaling. Laws on carrying fixed blades, including around the neck, vary by location, so check your local laws before carrying.

Will the 1095 carbon steel blade rust?

It can. 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The Tactical Gray finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina if left wet. Wipe the knife dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on it.

What warranty does the Izula have, and where is it made?

ESEE describes its warranty as one of the most extensive available. Contact ESEE or visit eseeknives.com for current warranty terms and service. The Izula is made in the USA.
