Izula II – 2.63″ 1095 Orange Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Green Micarta Handle (Knifeworks Exclusive) – IZULA-II-OR

The ESEE Izula II is the longer-handled version of ESEE’s compact Izula, built for low-profile everyday carry or as a lightweight survival kit knife.

1095 carbon steel is a classic outdoor steel: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and dependable for everyday cutting. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The flat-ground drop-point blade handles fine work like cutting cord, opening packages, and prepping tinder, and the bright orange finish makes the knife easy to spot if you set it down in leaves or brush. The Izula takes its name from the Peruvian name for the bullet ant, an insect known for being small, hardy, and independent.

• Blade: 2.63″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, orange finish, flat grind, plain edge, 0.156″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 6.75″ overall.
• Handle: Green Micarta scales, longer than the standard Izula for a more secure grip. 4.12″ handle length.
• Sheath: Injection-molded black polymer sheath included.
• Carry: 3.20 oz, light enough to add to any kit as a backup blade.

Carry and care: Laws on carrying fixed blades, especially concealed, vary by location, so check your local laws before carrying. 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The orange finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina, so keep the knife dry and lightly oiled.

ESEE Izula II Orange and Green: Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of blade and sheath does this Izula II have?

It is a fixed blade with a 2.63-inch 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade, 0.156 inch thick, hardened to 55-57 HRC, with an orange finish, a flat grind, and a plain edge, with green Micarta handle scales. It comes with an injection-molded black polymer sheath.

What is included with this Izula II?

The knife comes with its black polymer sheath. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.

What makes this Izula II a Knifeworks exclusive?

It shares the standard Izula II’s 1095 blade, longer Micarta handle, and polymer sheath, in a high-visibility color combination.

How does this compare to other Izula versions?

All Izula and Izula II models share the same blade, so their sheaths are compatible. This version pairs an orange blade with green Micarta, while the other Izula II versions use tan Micarta with black, black oxide, OD Green, or Desert Tan blades.

Will the 1095 blade rust?

It can. 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The orange finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina if left wet. Wipe the knife dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on it.

What warranty does the Izula II have, and where is it made?

ESEE describes its warranty as one of the most extensive available. Contact ESEE or visit eseeknives.com for current warranty terms and service. The Izula II is made in the USA.
