Heretic Knives Manticore S OTF Automatic – 2.6″ DLC Tanto Blade, Black Aluminum Handle with Purple Camo Carbon Fiber Accents – H023-6A-PUCF

The Heretic Knives Manticore S OTF Automatic H023-6A-PUCF pairs a DLC-coated tanto blade with a black aluminum handle accented in purple camo carbon fiber, giving Heretic’s compact OTF platform a reinforced tip profile and a distinctive pattern in the same push-button mechanism.

The tanto blade shape on this Manticore S trades the curved belly of a drop point or recurve for a reinforced, angular tip built for piercing and tip strength, tanto grinds are a common choice for buyers who prioritize tip durability over general-purpose slicing geometry. The blade steel was not specified for this configuration, confirm against hereticknives.com before publishing.

The DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating is a hard, low-friction physical vapor deposition finish, DLC coatings add surface hardness and a low-glare, matte black appearance while layering additional corrosion resistance on top of whichever steel is used underneath.

Purple camo carbon fiber is a patterned carbon fiber accent material combining camouflage-style visual texture with a purple colorway, carbon fiber accents are prized for being extremely light relative to their strength, on this Manticore S it’s paired with a black aluminum frame rather than used as the sole handle material.

The out-the-front mechanism fires the blade straight out of the front of the handle at the push of a button and retracts it the same way, no manual flip, thumb stud, or disengage step required.
