Helle Polaris Fixed Blade Knife, 3.15 in. Blade, 14C28N Stainless, Curly Birch Handle, Brown Leather Sheath

The Helle Polaris is the newest member of the Nord family, and it might be the one you reach for most. Named after the North Star, it takes everything that makes the Helle Nord and Nordlys exceptional — the clean Scandinavian lines, the dual-grip ergonomics, the confidence-inspiring full tang construction — and delivers it all in a compact, carry-friendly package that fits your daily life without compromise. Introduced in 2026, the Polaris is built for the person who wants a serious outdoor fixed blade that actually goes with them everywhere.

The 3.15-inch blade is ground to a classic Scandi profile using 14C28N stainless steel, a Sandvik-developed alloy that earns its reputation in the field. It takes a razor edge, holds it through real work, resists corrosion in wet conditions, and comes back to shaving sharp with minimal effort on a strop or stone. At 0.125 inches thick, the blade has enough spine to handle outdoor tasks while staying nimble enough for detail work like carving and food prep. The curly birch handle is ergonomically shaped with a dual-grip profile, and brass hollow rivets add a handcrafted character that makes every Polaris unique.

The included genuine brown leather sheath is designed to do double duty. The belt loop lets you hang it on your hip for quick access on the trail, and the sheath profile is slim enough to slip into a pocket for more discreet everyday carry. This is a knife built to be used, carried, and passed down.
