ESEE-6HM – 6.00″ 1095 Black Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Gray Micarta Handle, Leather Sheath – ESEE-6HM-B

The ESEE-6HM with gray Micarta and a brown leather belt sheath is the traditional-carry version of ESEE’s slimmer 6″ hunting and bushcraft knife, built around a 6.00″ 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade.

The 6HM takes the ESEE-6 design in a slimmer direction for hunters and bushcrafters who spend more time on controlled cuts than on chopping. ESEE flat grinds the 0.15″ thick blade from 1095 carbon steel at 55-57 HRC, a tough, straightforward steel that takes a keen edge and is easy to touch up in the field, and finishes it in black to cut glare. Gray canvas Micarta scales in a traditional handle profile give a secure, comfortable grip for skinning and carving. The brown leather belt sheath gives the knife a classic look and rides quietly on the belt, a good fit for hunters who prefer leather over Kydex.

• Blade: 6.00″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, flat grind, plain edge, black finish, 0.15″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 11.00″ overall.
• Handle: Gray canvas Micarta in a traditional profile, 5.00″ long.
• Construction: Fixed blade, with no folding or locking mechanism.
• Carry: 10.8 oz. Includes a brown leather belt sheath.

Ideal for: deer and elk hunters who want a 6″ blade for field dressing and quartering; bushcrafters who prefer a leather sheath for quiet, traditional carry; and ESEE-6 owners who want a slimmer second knife.

Care: 1095 is not stainless. It may develop a patina where the finish wears, so keep the blade dry and lightly oiled.
