CRKT Tailbone – 2.13″ Blackwashed 8Cr13MoV Drop Point Orange Paracord 2415

The CRKT Tailbone is one of the most unique and innovative neck knives in the industry. Designed by T.J. Schwarz, this model provides a high-performance narrative by pairing a 2.13-inch 8Cr13MoV stainless steel drop point blade with a revolutionary machine chain handle. While it appears to be a standard fixed blade, the handle is flexible and moves to contour perfectly to your hand for superb ergonomics, yet it remains completely rigid during vertical cutting and slicing tasks. Wrapped in high-visibility orange paracord and finished with a rugged blackwash coating, the Tailbone is a lightweight, conversational utility tool built for the unexpected challenges of the outdoors.

Key Features:

• Innovative Chain Handle: A patented machine-link design that stays flexible for comfort in the hand or pocket but locks into a rigid structure when pressure is applied during a cut.

• High-Carbon Blackwashed Blade: The 8Cr13MoV blade features a durable stonewashed finish that hides wear and offers excellent edge retention, complemented by jimping on the spine for maximum thumb control.

• High-Visibility Paracord Wrap: The handle is traditionally wrapped in bright orange cordage, providing a secure, non-slip grip that is easy to locate in brush or low-light conditions.
