Cold Steel Kris Dagger Wood (12.4″ 1055) CSSWKRISDAG

The Filipino islands are renowned for their extensive collection of bladed weapons. There is a diverse range of Kris swords to choose from, each associated with a specific island, region, clan, or school. These swords vary in style and purpose, with some designed for cutting and others optimized for thrusting.

The Cold Steel® Kris series, consisting of a sword and dagger, is designed for practitioners of Filipino martial arts and sword enthusiasts who appreciate quality craftsmanship. These blades are expertly crafted from 1055 carbon steel with a resilient spring temper. They have been meticulously satin polished and come pre-sharpened for immediate use. The Kris blades boast an elegant profile, featuring three concave curves and a distinctive descending spear point commonly found on Kris swords. This blade shape strikes the perfect balance between cutting power and thrusting ability, offering superior performance in both aspects. The sharp and robust points excel at long-range cutting while retaining the precision to pierce effectively. Each blade is finished with traditional “file cut” flanges, adorned with decorative details that provide protection to your fingers, thumb wrist, and lower forearm.

The handles of the classic Kris knives prioritize strength and durability over fashion. They are meticulously hand-carved from Sal hardwood, wrapped with wire, and adorned with a brass bolster. Each Kris knife is accompanied by a robust and functional scabbard, making it suitable for display on your wall or convenient to carry securely on your belt when needed.
