Camp-Lore CR2.5 – 2.50″ 1095 Tumbled Black Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Orange G-10 Handle – ESEE-CR2.5-OR

The ESEE Camp-Lore CR2.5 in orange G-10 is a pocket-sized hiking and trail knife designed by Cody Rowen, with a 2.50″ 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade and a high-visibility handle that’s easy to spot on the ground.

As the smallest knife in ESEE’s Camp-Lore series, the CR2.5 is built for the small jobs that come up on the trail: cutting cord, prepping food, cleaning a fish, or making tinder. ESEE flat grinds the blade from 1095 carbon steel at 55-57 HRC, a tough, straightforward steel that takes a keen edge and is easy to touch up in the field, and finishes it in tumbled black. The orange G-10 handle is grippy and weather resistant, and the bright color helps you find the knife if it’s dropped in leaves or set down at camp. ESEE builds the CR2.5 in Idaho, USA, and pairs it with an improved brown leather bag sheath.

• Blade: 2.50″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, flat grind, plain edge, tumbled black finish, 0.13″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 6.25″ overall.
• Handle: Orange G-10, 3.75″ long, for a comfortable, secure grip.
• Construction: Fixed blade, with no folding or locking mechanism.
• Carry: 2.5 oz. Includes an improved brown leather bag sheath.

Ideal for: day hikers who want a light fixed blade that won’t weigh down a pack; anglers and campers who need a small knife for trail and camp chores; and anyone who wants a high-visibility handle that’s hard to lose outdoors.

Care: 1095 is not stainless. It may develop a patina where the finish wears, so keep the blade dry and lightly oiled.
