Boker Plus Trapper Hidden Release Auto Appaloosa Bone (3.14″ D2) 01BP0029

The Boker Plus Hidden Release Trapper (01BP0029) is a remarkable fusion of tradition and modern innovation, designed to honor the legacy of the classic Trapper knife. This knife is not only a tool but a tribute to the trappers of North America who relied on such instruments during their hunting expeditions. Its design, rooted in the 19th century, reflects a timeless elegance that has been reimagined for contemporary enthusiasts.

Design and Functionality

Blade and Mechanism: The knife features a 3.14-inch satin-finished D2 drop point blade, known for its durability and sharpness. Unlike traditional Trappers that utilize a nail nick and slipjoint, the Boker Plus Hidden Release Trapper operates with a modern automatic mechanism. The knife opens effortlessly via a hidden bolster release, which is ingeniously integrated into the stainless steel bolster. By sliding the bolster upwards, users can easily deploy the blade, making it both functional and innovative.

Handle and Aesthetics: The handle of the Trapper is made from Appaloosa bone, providing a unique and captivating appearance with its natural grain and brown iridescent coloring. This not only gives the knife a distinctive western look but ensures that each piece is unique. The handle’s smooth, hand-flattering scales add to the knife’s appeal, offering comfort and style.
