Boker Plus Rold Black (02BO292) – 6.25″ D2 Black Powder Coated Plain Clip Point Blade Green Canvas Micarta Handle 02BO292

The Boker Plus Rold Black is a professional-grade camp knife that represents the pinnacle of Jesper Voxnaes’ design philosophy for the outdoors. Building on the massive success of the original Rold, this “Black” version is engineered for extreme environments where moisture and hard use are constant. This is a true multi-purpose field knife, balancing the sheer power of a heavy-duty chopper with the refined geometry required for precision processing. Whether clearing a trail, preparing a campsite, or processing large game, the Rold Black provides a level of ruggedness that few fixed blades can match.

The 6.25″ clip point blade is forged from D2 tool steel, an alloy legendary for its incredible toughness and edge retention. To combat the maintenance needs of tool steel, the entire blade and full tang are protected by a corrosion-resistant black powder coating. The flat grind ensures outstanding slicing performance, while the massive full-tang construction provides the structural integrity needed for high-impact chores. Ergonomics are handled by blasted green canvas Micarta scales, featuring an index finger choil for “choking up” on fine tasks and a dovetail-shaped handle butt for maximum security during heavy chopping.
