Barebones Living No. 7 Nakiri – Brwn Pakkawood (7″ SS) BARE493

The Nakiri proves itself as a robust and reliable tool in the realm of robust meal preparation. Commonly identified as a Japanese vegetable knife, the Nakiri seamlessly combines the flexibility of a chef’s knife with the straightforward design of a cleaver. With its square outline and straight edge, it becomes an unrivaled utensil for handling bulky vegetables that are difficult to manage with traditional rocking motions typically attributed to chef’s knives. It facilitates efficient processing of solid vegetables such as sweet potatoes, butternut squashes or large zucchinis. Moreover, its deep yet flat blade is aptly suited for finely shredding and chiffonading lettuce, cabbages and other leafy greens without exerting excessive effort. Constructed from Full Tang 50CrMoV15 stainless steel, this sharp blade possesses great strength which gives it amazing chip-resistance qualities. Complementing its functionality is an elegant Pakkawood handle that doesn’t only enhance aesthetics but provides for comfortable grip during prolonged use. Included within your purchase is also a full-grain cow leather sheath optimally designed to weather daily usage while ensuring optimum protection against potential dullness on the blade surface – manifesting as functional enhancement of your kitchen tool collection.
