The ESEE Ashley Game Knife (AGK) is a full-tang hunting knife built for field dressing game and camp cooking. This version pairs a 3.55″ stonewashed CPM S35VN drop-point blade with high-visibility, 3D-contoured orange and black G-10 handle scales and a black Kydex sheath.
CPM S35VN is a powder-metallurgy stainless steel known for a strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. ESEE runs it at 55-58 HRC. For a hunting knife, that means an edge that holds up through field dressing and a blade that handles blood, rain, and wet weather well. The flat-ground drop-point blade gives you a controllable tip for careful work around game and enough belly for skinning and slicing, and the bright orange handle makes the knife easier to spot if you set it down in leaves or brush.
- Blade: 3.55″ CPM S35VN drop point, stonewash finish, flat grind, plain edge, full tang, 0.15″ thick, 55-58 HRC. 8.23″ overall.
- Handle: Textured orange and black G-10 with 3D-contoured scales for a secure grip. 4.68″ handle length.
- Sheath: Black Kydex sheath included.
- Carry: 5.60 oz.
Ideal for: deer and big game hunters who field dress their own animals; hunters who want a high-visibility handle that is easy to find in the field; and backcountry campers who want one stainless knife for game and camp meals.
ESEE Ashley Game Knife Orange G-10: Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about the ESEE Ashley Game Knife in CPM S35VN with orange and black G-10 (ESEE-AGK35V-OR).
What kind of blade and sheath does the Ashley Game Knife have?
It is a full-tang fixed blade with a 3.55-inch CPM S35VN drop-point blade, 0.15 inch thick, hardened to 55-58 HRC, with a stonewash finish, a flat grind, and a plain edge. It comes with a black Kydex sheath.
What is included with the Ashley Game Knife?
The knife comes with its black Kydex sheath. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.
Should I choose the orange G-10 or brown Micarta Ashley Game Knife?
Both share the same CPM S35VN blade, dimensions, and Kydex sheath. Choose orange and black G-10 for a high-visibility handle that is easy to spot in the field. Choose brown Micarta for a more traditional, earth-toned look.
Is the Ashley Game Knife good for field dressing deer?
Yes. It was built as a hunting knife. The drop-point blade gives you a controllable tip for careful cuts around game and enough belly for skinning, and the full-tang construction handles the work of processing an animal. It also works well for preparing meals at camp.
Does the knife need special care?
CPM S35VN is a stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, and G-10 is a durable, moisture-resistant handle material. Still, clean and dry the knife after field dressing and before storing it in the sheath.
What warranty does the Ashley Game Knife have, and where is it made?
ESEE describes its warranty as one of the most extensive available. Contact ESEE or visit eseeknives.com for current warranty terms and service. The Ashley Game Knife is made in the USA.
