Kershaw Launch 13 Auto – 3.5″ CPM-154 Black Two-Tone Wharncliffe Blade, Blue Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7650BLU

The Kershaw Launch 13 7650BLU is the blue Wharncliffe — CPM-154 in a black two-tone blade on a blue anodized aluminum handle, the most visually assertive and color-forward configuration in the Launch 13 lineup, bringing the dark two-tone blade’s grind geometry against a bold blue handle for the most visually distinct Wharncliffe automatic in the series.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — KVT ball-bearing pivot, side-button deployment, liner lock retention, and blade steel positioned precisely in the performance hierarchy. The Launch 13 7650BLU runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. The Wharncliffe blade geometry keeps the spine completely flat and curves the entire edge upward to a centered tip — the precision push-cut and controlled slicing specialist of the Launch lineup, the only Wharncliffe automatic Kershaw produces. The black two-tone finish on the 7650BLU applies a dark coating to the blade while leaving the bevel in a contrasting lighter finish — making the Wharncliffe’s grind geometry immediately readable: the flat spine, the full-length curved edge, and the centered tip are all visible in the two-tone contrast. Against the blue anodized aluminum handle, the dark two-tone blade creates the most color-forward combination in the Launch 13 family — the same cool-color register as the blue anodize, the dark blade face reading against a vibrant blue handle for a pairing that is both visually bold and tonally in the same cool spectrum. Blue anodizing creates a hard aluminum oxide layer integral to the metal — the color cannot chip or peel. At 3.5 inches, the Launch 13 carries the longest blade in the Launch catalog. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
