Boker Germany Kiboku – 2.95″ RWL-34 Two-Tone Drop Point Plain Blade, Black Richlite Handle – 120516

Perfection is the illusion that begins in small details and vanishes in countless nuances. Lucas Burnley doesn’t chase it — he builds around harmony and overall design instead, and the result is the Boker Germany Kiboku 120516: a full-tang fixed blade that carries all day, cuts everything you need it to, and looks like it belongs in a collection when you’re not using it.

The blade is ground from RWL-34 at 62 HRC (±1) — a powder metallurgy stainless steel produced by Damasteel, the Swedish manufacturer known for supplying premium steel to the custom and high-performance production knife market. At 62 HRC, RWL-34 delivers outstanding edge retention, high wear resistance, reliable corrosion resistance, and easy resharpening on any system. The drop point profile runs a two-tone uncoated finish with spine jimpings and a swedge — the jimpings add purchase for controlled thumb placement on detail cuts, the swedge adds a visual accent that breaks the blade profile without compromising the plain edge geometry. Full-tang construction runs the steel the full length of the handle for maximum structural integrity under demanding cutting tasks.

The black Richlite handle scales are made from a sustainable composite of paper and wood fibres manufactured in the United States since 1943. Richlite is hard, lightweight, moisture-resistant, and dimensionally stable — it holds its geometry in the field conditions where synthetic handles can expand, contract, or degrade. The textured surface provides consistent grip in wet or dry conditions. Screw-fastened construction makes scale removal and replacement straightforward for cleaning and customization. A precision-fit Kydex sheath provides secure blade retention and flexible belt or pocket carry options for EDC and outdoor use.
