Kershaw Launch 13 Auto – 3.5″ CPM-154 Stonewashed Wharncliffe Blade, Silver Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7650RAW

The Kershaw Launch 13 7650RAW is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 3.5-inch CPM-154 stonewash Wharncliffe blade on a silver anodized aluminum handle — the only Wharncliffe automatic in Kershaw’s Launch lineup, delivering the most specialized slicing geometry in the series on the benchmark powder metallurgy stainless steel, in the longest blade length available in the Launch catalog.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — KVT ball-bearing pivot, side-button deployment, liner lock retention, and blade steel that positions each variant precisely in the performance hierarchy. The Launch 13 7650RAW runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of the classic 154CM stainless alloy — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance that requires no special maintenance in carry conditions. The Wharncliffe blade geometry on the 7650RAW is the defining characteristic of this knife and the feature that distinguishes it from every other variant in the Launch catalog. A Wharncliffe blade keeps the spine completely flat and curves the entire edge upward to meet it at the tip — producing a tip that sits at the centerline of the blade, a flat cutting edge that runs parallel to the work surface for the full length of the blade, and a geometry that excels at precision push cuts, controlled slicing tasks, box cutting, and any application where keeping the blade flat against the work surface and controlling the tip’s entry point is the priority. The Wharncliffe is the precision push-cut specialist: where a trailing point belly optimizes for draw cuts and a tanto reinforced tip optimizes for penetration, the Wharncliffe optimizes for flat, controlled, edge-parallel contact with the work surface. The stonewash finish leaves CPM-154 in natural textured form — matte, diffusing light, hiding carry scratches, developing patina. The silver anodized aluminum handle reads as the clean, precise, carry-neutral pairing for the Wharncliffe’s flat, precision-cut geometry. At 3.5 inches, the Launch 13 carries the longest blade in the Launch catalog built in this session. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, Wharncliffe profile, stonewash finish — the only Wharncliffe automatic in the Launch lineup; flat spine, full-length curved edge meeting at a centered tip; optimized for precision push cuts, controlled slicing, and flat-contact cutting tasks where edge-parallel work surface contact is the performance driver
• Handle: Silver anodized aluminum — clean, carry-neutral silver that pairs with the stonewash blade for a unified natural-metal aesthetic; the most tonally cohesive handle in the Launch lineup for a bare stonewash blade
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; KVT ball-bearing pivot; liner lock retention
• Carry: Longest blade in the Launch lineup, USA made (confirm clip configuration)

Buyers who want the Wharncliffe geometry in a USA-made side-button automatic folder — the Launch 13 is the only Wharncliffe in the Kershaw automatic lineup, and the Wharncliffe geometry in an automatic deployment format gives buyers instant one-hand access to a precision push-cut blade that no other Launch variant can provide. Tradespeople, craftspeople, box cutters, and utility carry professionals who use a flat-edge Wharncliffe geometry daily and want automatic deployment for single-hand access under work conditions. Collectors completing the Launch series who want the geometry-specialist automatic alongside the trailing point, drop point, spear point, and tanto variants built elsewhere in the catalog.

CPM-154, stonewash Wharncliffe, silver anodized aluminum, USA-made side-button automatic, and Kershaw Lifetime Warranty — the Kershaw Launch 13 7650RAW is the only Wharncliffe automatic in the Launch lineup.
