Kershaw Launch 18 Auto – 2.79″ CPM-154 Stonewashed Spear Point Blade, OD Green Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7551OL

The Kershaw Launch 18 7551OL is the OD green Launch 18 — CPM-154 stonewash spear point on OD green anodized aluminum, the field-carry configuration of the most compact everyday automatic in the Launch lineup, carrying the same sub-3-inch CPM-154 capability in the most tactically purposeful and field-credible handle color available on the platform.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot, liner lock retention. The Launch 18 7551OL runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance in a 2.79-inch compact blade that handles the full range of everyday light cutting tasks while fitting comfortably in a front pocket. At 2.79 inches, the Launch 18 sits between the ultra-compact Launch 4 (1.9″) and the full-size Launch variants, delivering enough blade for real daily cutting tasks in a profile that carries without the bulk of a full-size automatic. The OD green anodized aluminum handle is the most tactically purposeful and field-credible handle color in the Launch compact lineup. OD green carries an unambiguous field-carry signal — the color of military, law enforcement, and first responder gear — that reads as deliberate operational intent in every professional and outdoor carry context. The matte cool silver-grey of stonewash CPM-154 against OD green creates the same understated field-carry aesthetic as every other stonewash-on-OD-green combination in the catalog: the natural steel blade reads as working hardware against a field-credible frame. OD green anodizing creates a hard aluminum oxide layer integral to the metal — the color cannot chip or peel. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
