Kershaw Launch 13 Auto – 3.5″ CPM-154 Two-Tone Satin Wharncliffe Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7650

The Kershaw Launch 13 7650 is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 3.5-inch CPM-154 two-tone satin Wharncliffe blade on a black anodized aluminum handle — bringing a reflective satin two-tone finish to the only Wharncliffe automatic in the Launch lineup, distinct from the dark black two-tone of the 7650BLU and the natural bare steel of the 7650RAW.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — KVT ball-bearing pivot, side-button deployment, liner lock retention. The Launch 13 7650 runs CPM-154, Crucible’s powder metallurgy version of 154CM — more uniform carbide distribution, better edge retention, improved toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. No active moisture maintenance required. The Wharncliffe blade geometry is the defining characteristic of the Launch 13 and the only Wharncliffe automatic in the Kershaw Launch lineup — a flat spine and a full-length curved edge meeting at a centered tip, optimized for precision push cuts and controlled slicing. The two-tone satin finish on the 7650 is distinct from the two-tone treatment found on the 7650BLU. Where the 7650BLU’s two-tone applies a black coating to the flat faces with a contrasting lighter bevel — a coated finish — the 7650’s two-tone satin applies a reflective, polished satin treatment across two distinct sections of the blade, creating contrast through reflectivity and brightness rather than through a dark coating against a lighter bevel. The result is a brighter, more metallic-looking two-tone blade that shows more of the steel’s reflective character than the 7650BLU’s darker coated two-tone. The black anodized aluminum handle creates a high-contrast pairing — a bright, reflective two-tone satin blade against a fully dark handle, the inverse visual relationship of the 7650BLK’s all-black configuration. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.

• Blade: CPM-154 stainless steel, Wharncliffe profile, two-tone satin finish — powder metallurgy stainless with excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance; reflective satin two-tone distinct from the 7650BLU’s coated black two-tone; flat spine and full-length curved edge for precision push-cut performance
• Handle: Black anodized aluminum — fully dark handle creating high contrast against the bright reflective two-tone satin blade
• Deployment: Side-button automatic — press the button on the spine; KVT ball-bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth, one-hand deployment; liner lock retention
• Carry: Longest blade in the Launch lineup at 3.5 inches, USA made (confirm clip configuration)

Buyers who want the Launch 13 Wharncliffe in a brighter, more reflective two-tone finish than the 7650BLU’s darker coated two-tone — the 7650’s satin two-tone shows more of CPM-154’s natural metallic character while still presenting the grind-line contrast that two-tone finishing provides. Buyers who want high visual contrast between a bright blade and a fully dark handle. Collectors completing the full Launch 13 family who want the 7650 satin two-tone alongside the 7650RAW stonewash, 7650BLK all-black, 7650BLU black two-tone, and 7650DAM Damascus as the complete five-variant Wharncliffe set.

CPM-154, two-tone satin Wharncliffe, black anodized aluminum, USA-made side-button automatic, and Kershaw Lifetime Warranty — the Kershaw Launch 13 7650 is the bright two-tone Wharncliffe automatic in the Launch lineup.
