Kershaw Launch 4 Auto – 1.9″ Damascus Spear Point Blade, Black Anodized Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7500DAM

The Kershaw Launch 4 7500BLKDAM is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 1.9-inch Damascus spear point blade on a black anodized aluminum handle — the most compact Damascus automatic in the Kershaw Launch lineup and the smallest Damascus automatic knife in this catalog, delivering pattern-per-blade Damascus in a shirt-pocket and dress-carry footprint that no other Damascus automatic in the Launch family can match.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, liner lock retention. The Launch 4 7500DAM runs Damascus steel — forge-welded layered alloys manipulated through twisting, folding, or patterning before grinding to final geometry and acid-etched to reveal the contrasting layer pattern. No two Damascus blades carry an identical pattern: the 7500DAM you receive is the only one with that exact pattern in existence. At 1.9 inches, the Launch 4 7500DAM is the most compact Damascus automatic in the Launch lineup and the smallest Damascus blade in this entire catalog — smaller than the Launch 9 7250DAM (2-inch drop point), smaller than the Launch 11 7550DAM (2.75-inch drop point), and smaller than the Launch 18 7551DAM (2.79-inch spear point). The Damascus pattern on a 1.9-inch blade is the most proportionally concentrated in the catalog: the full layered pattern is visible across a 1.9-inch face, more visually dense per square inch than on any larger Damascus blade in the series. The spear point geometry delivers a symmetrical centered tip suited to everyday light cutting tasks from a 1.9-inch blade. The black anodized aluminum handle is the most carry-neutral Damascus automatic configuration — the Damascus pattern reads as the sole visual statement against the uninterrupted black surround, consistent with the Launch 8 7150DAM’s positioning throughout this catalog. The combination of the world’s most compact Damascus automatic with a zero-signature black handle creates the most discrete Damascus carry piece available in the Launch lineup. Damascus requires active moisture maintenance — wipe dry after moisture exposure and oil before storage. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
