Kershaw Launch 11 Auto – 2.75″ Damascus Drop Point Blade, Black Anodized Milled Aluminum Handle USA Made – 7550DAM

The Kershaw Launch 11 7550DAM is a USA-made side-button automatic folder with a 2.75-inch Damascus drop point blade on a black anodized milled aluminum handle — the Damascus compact automatic on the Launch 11 platform, delivering pattern-per-blade Damascus in a sub-3-inch footprint with the warm etched tones of the Damascus pattern reading as a premium visual accent against the machined black aluminum frame.

The Launch series represents Kershaw’s highest-tier USA-made automatic folder production — side-button deployment, KVT ball-bearing pivot, liner lock retention. The Launch 11 7550DAM runs Damascus steel — forge-welded layered alloys manipulated through twisting, folding, or patterning before grinding to final geometry and acid-etched to reveal the contrasting layer pattern. No two Damascus blades carry an identical pattern: the 7550DAM you receive is the only one with that exact pattern in existence. At 2.75 inches, the Launch 11 7550DAM brings Damascus steel to the same compact carry format as the CPM-154 Launch 11 variants, delivering per-blade-unique Damascus in a blade length suited to front pocket carry, professional carry, and everyday discrete EDC. The drop point geometry delivers a broadly capable everyday blade profile at 2.75 inches — a lowered, versatile tip with a long cutting belly suited to the full range of everyday cutting tasks. The black anodized milled aluminum handle distinguishes the 7550DAM from both the smooth aluminum of the CPM-154 variants and from handle overlay materials like G-10 and Micarta. Milling cuts a defined surface texture pattern into the aluminum itself before anodizing — the result is tactile grip character built into the metal structure, not applied over it. The warm caramel and dark-brown tones of the acid-etched Damascus pattern read as a warm visual accent against the cool dark machined black aluminum surround, creating a warm-on-cool contrast where the Damascus carries the visual premium. Damascus requires active moisture maintenance — wipe dry after moisture exposure and oil before storage. All assembled in Tualatin, Oregon on Kershaw’s USA production floor.
