ESEE-6 – 6.5″ 1095 Black Combo Edge Drop Point Blade, Micarta Handle, Rounded Pommel (Old Inventory/No Box) – ESEE-6C-B-CO

The ESEE-6 is Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin’s take on the 6 to 7 inch blade length found on many military-issue knives, shown here with a 6.5″ 1095 carbon steel combo-edge drop point, removable lined Micarta slabs, and a rounded pommel. This is factory-new old inventory sold without its original retail box.

ESEE notes the Model 6 has been used by military, law enforcement, and adventurers, including at Randall’s Adventure & Training jungle survival school. The blade is 1095 carbon steel at 57 HRC, a tough, straightforward steel that takes a keen edge and is easy to touch up in the field. A full flat grind on 3/16″ stock gives the ESEE-6 the strength for batoning and heavy camp work while still slicing cleanly. The combo edge puts serrations near the handle for rope and webbing and leaves a long plain section for carving and food prep. Removable lined Micarta slabs provide a secure grip, and the rounded pommel includes a lanyard hole.

• Blade: 6.5″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, full flat grind, combo edge, black finish, 0.188″ (3/16″) thick, 57 HRC. 5.75″ cutting edge, 1.56″ blade width.
• Handle: Removable lined Micarta slabs, rounded pommel with lanyard hole.
• Construction: Fixed blade, with no folding or locking mechanism.
• Carry: 11.8 oz (knife only). Includes a black sheath with a clip plate.

Ideal for: outdoorsmen who want a 6″ class knife for batoning, chopping, and camp chores; hunters and bushcrafters who need serrations for rope alongside a long slicing edge; and buyers who don’t need the retail box and want a new ESEE-6.

Condition: Factory-new, unused old inventory. Sold without the original retail box.

Care: 1095 is not stainless. It may develop a patina where the finish wears, so keep the blade dry and lightly oiled.
