Benchmade Station Knife – CPM-154 Black Coated Blade, OD Green G10 Handle – 4010BK-01

The Benchmade Station Knife 4010BK-01 applies the same manufacturing standards Benchmade brings to its tactical and EDC lineup to a kitchen fixed blade — CPM-154 stainless in a black-coated finish, OD green G10 handle, built for professional kitchen and outdoor cooking use where a stainless alloy with real edge retention matters more than a consumer kitchen knife will ever deliver.

The blade is CPM-154, the Crucible Particle Metallurgy version of 154CM. The CPM process produces a finer, more uniform carbide distribution than standard 154CM, resulting in a blade that takes a keener edge, holds it longer through cutting tasks, and is easier to touch up on a ceramic rod or strop. In a kitchen context, CPM-154 outperforms standard kitchen stainless in edge retention and provides the stain resistance needed for food preparation and wet environments. The black coating reduces surface reactivity and keeps the blade looking clean between uses. OD green G10 handle scales are rigid, moisture-resistant, and textured for a positive grip in wet kitchen and outdoor cooking conditions.

• Blade Steel: CPM-154 stainless, black coated — Crucible PM version of 154CM; finer carbide distribution for better edge retention and toughness vs. standard kitchen stainless
• CPM-154 vs. standard kitchen steel: CPM-154 holds a working edge longer than consumer kitchen knife alloys and sharpens precisely on a ceramic rod or leather strop
• Handle: OD green G10 (glass-filled epoxy laminate) — rigid, moisture-resistant, textured for positive grip in wet kitchen and outdoor cooking environments
• Fixed blade construction — full-tang stability for cutting tasks; no folding mechanism
• Black coated blade — reduces surface reactivity, keeps blade appearance clean between uses
• Blade profile and length: Verify on manufacturer page — add to product name once confirmed
• Weight: Verify on manufacturer page
• Warranty: Benchmade LifeSharp warranty — free lifetime sharpening, blade replacement, and mechanical repair
