Kershaw Kai PRO Asian Multi-Prep – 5.0″ Japanese AUS6M Hammered Blade Riveted POM Handle HT7069

The Kershaw Kai PRO Asian Multi-Prep (HT7069) is a nimble, professional-grade kitchen tool inspired by the traditional Japanese honesuki. Designed for precision and agility, this 5-inch triangular blade is a “go-to” for chefs who need a compact knife that excels at both delicate protein fabrication and high-speed vegetable preparation.

Crafted from premium Japanese AUS6M stainless steel, the blade features a striking hammered finish that is as functional as it is beautiful. The texture creates tiny air pockets that reduce drag, allowing food to release instantly for faster slicing. Each blade is hand-sharpened to a razor-sharp 16° edge on each side, offering significantly more precision than standard Western cutlery. The narrow, pointed tip is engineered to maneuver effortlessly around bones and joints, while the wider heel provides the stability needed for trimming shallots or garlic. Built for the rigors of commercial use, the full-tang construction and moisture-resistant riveted POM handle ensure a lifetime of balanced, professional performance.

• 5.0″ Japanese AUS6M Stainless Steel Blade featuring a hammered finish that reduces food stick and high-carbon content for superior edge retention.

• Professional 16° Hand-Sharpened Edge delivers surgical precision and clean cuts, outperforming traditional 20° Western-style knives.

• Full-Tang Riveted POM Handle provides an ergonomic, weighted balance and a durable, non-slip grip that is built for commercial kitchen environments.

• NSF Certified Design meets the highest standards of safety and sanitation for use in professional kitchens and culinary schools.
