ESEE-CM6 – 5.88″ 1095 Tactical Gray Plain Edge Clip Point Blade, Black G-10 Handle – ESEE-CM-6-TG-B

The ESEE-CM6 blends a practical field knife with a tactical clip point profile. This version pairs a 5.88″ Tactical Gray 1095 clip point blade with a sharpened swedge, a full-size black G-10 handle, and a black Kydex sheath with multiple carry options.

1095 carbon steel is a classic choice for hard-use fixed blades: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and forgiving under heavy use. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The 0.19″ thick, flat-ground blade is sized for demanding camp and field work without adding excess weight to your gear. ESEE notes that the sharpened swedge improves penetration, and the full-size G-10 handle is shaped for a secure, stable grip.

• Blade: 5.88″ 1095 carbon steel clip point, Tactical Gray finish, flat grind, plain edge with a sharpened swedge, 0.19″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 11.13″ overall.
• Handle: Full-size black G-10, shaped for a secure, stable grip.
• Sheath: Black Kydex sheath with multiple carry options.
• Carry: 10.00 oz.

Ideal for: hunters and backcountry users who want a large, capable clip point knife; outdoor users who want a durable, moisture-resistant G-10 handle; and buyers who want a subdued gray and black field knife with a Kydex sheath.

Legal note: The CM6 has a sharpened swedge along part of the spine. Some jurisdictions restrict knives with more than one sharpened edge, so check your local laws before buying or carrying.

Care: 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The Tactical Gray finish helps protect the blade, but the edges and any worn areas can rust or patina. Keep the knife dry and lightly oiled.

ESEE-CM6 Tactical Gray and Black G-10: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about the ESEE-CM6 with a Tactical Gray clip point blade, black G-10, and black Kydex sheath (ESEE-CM-6-TG-B).

What kind of blade and sheath does the ESEE-CM6 have?

It is a fixed blade with a 5.88-inch 1095 carbon steel clip point blade, 0.19 inch thick, hardened to 55-57 HRC, with a Tactical Gray finish, a flat grind, a plain edge, and a sharpened swedge. It comes with a black Kydex sheath that offers multiple carry options.

What is included with the ESEE-CM6?

The knife comes with its black Kydex sheath. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.

What is a sharpened swedge, and is it legal where I live?

A swedge is a bevel ground along the top of the blade near the tip. On the CM6 it is sharpened, which ESEE notes improves penetration. Because it adds a second sharpened edge near the tip, some jurisdictions may treat the knife differently. Check your local laws before buying or carrying.

How is this different from other ESEE-CM6 versions?

All CM6 models share the same 5.88-inch 1095 clip point blade and Kydex sheath. This version pairs a Tactical Gray blade with black G-10. The ESEE-CM-6-TG has the same Tactical Gray blade with tan Micarta, and the ESEE-CM-6 pairs a black blade with tan Micarta.

Will the 1095 carbon steel blade rust?

It can. 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless, so it needs more care than stainless steels. The Tactical Gray finish helps protect the blade, but the edges and any worn areas can rust or patina if left wet. Wipe the knife dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on it.

What warranty does the ESEE-CM6 have, and where is it made?

ESEE describes its warranty as one of the most extensive available. Contact ESEE or visit eseeknives.com for current warranty terms and service. The ESEE-CM6 is made in the USA.
