Izula II – 2.63″ 1095 OD Green Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Tan Micarta Handle – IZULA-II-OD

The ESEE Izula II is the longer-handled version of ESEE’s compact Izula, built for low-profile everyday carry or as a lightweight survival kit knife. It pairs the Izula’s 2.63″ blade, here in 1095 carbon steel with an OD Green finish, with tan Micarta scales for a fuller, more secure grip, at just 3.20 oz.

1095 carbon steel is a classic outdoor steel: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and dependable for everyday cutting. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The flat-ground drop-point blade handles fine work like cutting cord, opening packages, and prepping tinder, and the OD Green finish helps protect it. The Izula takes its name from the Peruvian name for the bullet ant, an insect known for being small, hardy, and independent.

• Blade: 2.63″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, OD Green finish, flat grind, plain edge, 0.156″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 6.75″ overall.
• Handle: Tan Micarta scales, longer than the standard Izula for a more secure grip. 4.12″ handle length.
• Sheath: Injection-molded black polymer sheath included.
• Carry: 3.20 oz, light enough to add to any kit as a backup blade.

Ideal for: hikers and backpackers who want a compact backup knife with a real handle; survival kit builders who want a small, tough fixed blade; and outdoor users who prefer a classic OD Green and tan field colorway.

Care: 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The OD Green finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina. Keep the knife dry and lightly oiled.
