ESEE-4 3D Handle – 4.50″ 1095 Venom Green Plain Edge Drop Point Blade, Neon Green and Black 3D G-10 Handle – ESEE-4PVG-007

The ESEE-4 is one of ESEE’s most popular survival knives, sized to handle heavy camp work while staying light enough for the trail. This 3D Handle version pairs a 4.50″ Venom Green 1095 drop-point blade with contoured neon green and black G-10 scales and a black polymer sheath.

1095 carbon steel is a classic choice for survival knives: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and forgiving under hard use. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The 0.188″ thick blade stock stands up to batoning, while the tall flat grind keeps the edge thin enough for clean slicing in camp and when processing game. The 3D-contoured G-10 handle fills the hand for a secure grip, and its neon green color makes the knife easy to spot if you set it down.

• Blade: 4.50″ 1095 carbon steel drop point, Venom Green finish, tall flat grind, plain edge, 0.188″ thick, 55-57 HRC. 9.0″ overall.
• Handle: 3D-contoured neon green and black G-10 for a secure, high-visibility grip. 4.50″ handle length.
• Sheath: Injection-molded black polymer sheath included.
• Carry: 8.00 oz.

Ideal for: hunters and campers who want a mid-size knife for batoning and slicing; bushcrafters and preppers who want a tough survival blade larger than the ESEE-3; and outdoor users who want a high-visibility handle that is easy to find.

Care: 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless. The Venom Green finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina. Keep the knife dry and lightly oiled.

Answers to the most common questions about the ESEE-4 3D Handle in Venom Green with neon green and black G-10 (ESEE-4PVG-007).

What kind of blade and sheath does the ESEE-4 3D Handle have?

It is a fixed blade with a 4.50-inch 1095 carbon steel drop-point blade, 0.188 inch thick, hardened to 55-57 HRC, with a Venom Green finish, a tall flat grind, and a plain edge. It comes with an injection-molded black polymer sheath.

What is included with the ESEE-4 3D Handle?

The knife comes with its black polymer sheath. Contents are subject to change by the manufacturer.

What does 3D handle mean?

The 3D handle has contoured G-10 scales that are shaped to fill the hand, rather than flat slabs. That gives a more secure, comfortable grip during long batoning and carving sessions.

How does the ESEE-4 compare to the ESEE-3?

The ESEE-4 is the larger, heavier-duty sibling. It has a 4.50-inch blade at 0.188 inch thick, compared with the ESEE-3’s 3.88-inch blade at 0.125 inch thick, which gives it more reach and strength for batoning and heavier camp work.

Will the 1095 carbon steel blade rust?

It can. 1095 is carbon steel, not stainless, so it needs more care than stainless steels. The Venom Green finish helps protect the blade, but the edge and any worn areas can rust or patina if left wet. Wipe the knife dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on it.

What warranty does the ESEE-4 have, and where is it made?
