The blade, constructed with carbon steel, is safeguarded by a resilient black DLC layer that not only mitigates potential rust damage but also eliminates any reflective glare. It is important to note that the longevity of carbon steel is contingent upon regular maintenance; thus, we strongly recommend wiping your knife and applying oil to the blade after each use. Furthermore, the blade spine has been meticulously ground down to allow effective usage in conjunction with a fire starter should an urgent need for fire arise. With practical design at its core, this knife’s sheath possesses both a belt loop and clip ensuring your tool remains within reach at all times.
