Helle Nordlys – Curly Birch (4.88″ 14C28N) HE671

Discover the Nordlys – your ultimate companion for outdoor adventures! Designed as a versatile, full tang knife, this smaller sibling of our popular Nord combines multiple grips and a utilitarian blade shape into a compact and lightweight package. It’s perfect to take along on all your everyday expeditions. The name “Nordlys” is inspired by the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in Norwegian, where “Lys” translates to both light and fair. This innovative tool retains all the remarkable features of its bigger brother but offers them in a much more manageable size. With a handle measuring 4.88 inches—just 0.51 inches shorter than that of the Nord—you’ll still enjoy a comfortable forward grip for precise cuts and a sturdy pommel grip for tougher tasks. Tested rigorously over recent years on long hikes, short treks, camping trips, and bushcrafting sessions, the Nordlys has excelled in food preparation, kindling fires, sparking ferro rods, sharpening sticks, carving spoons—and so much more! Feedback from our testers has been overwhelmingly positive: The Nordlys handles any challenge with ease while remaining wonderfully lightweight on your belt as you journey from one adventure to another. Embark confidently on your next great outdoors experience with the trusty Nordlys by your side!
